Dynamite scores big time! Mini-devils won too, but out of sheer luck and better spatial placement in the field. The Dynamites won his third game, or so the parents tell me. I was too busy encouraging them to run for defense and attack to count the goals. Everyone of the five players in the field score a goal on Saturday, and some scored twice. It was a soccer festival for both parents and kids. And then for myself, because the players understood that when I say defense, the have to run back, to their goal and protect it, no matter what. And they all did it. And they understood, happily that if they put effort in the game, they get more play time, more time out in the field to score and defend. And more praise, because the 5 years old played like 8 years old. I am going to watch on any given Sunday again, for the pep talk of Al Pacino. Cheers PS: Pictures when available

On any given Saturday!

News flash!

Updates: Anne Dutranois and Hugo Coumont are going to have a baby. Finally!! We are super happy and can’t wait to share war stories with them.

Pablo and Marta are still playing soccer. I am head coach for Pablo’s team, the Dynamites. I am second coach or coach assistant for Marta’s team, the mini devils. We practice 4 times a week ;)

Eulalia has been working every day for the last 6 weeks, and I mean EVERY DAY. Let’s see how the month she plans on getting after Wednesday works out.

I am posting for a new position in the company, still working for Chevron. Development geologist for MCA North America. MCA stands for Mid Continent Alaska. Half my time would be dedicated to create and update the model of McElroy, a carbonate field in East Texas. Another half would be for following up with the development of the field. And another half would be mentoring. That makes three halves. That tells you how much work there is.

Marta is now in 3rd grade and she started sign language class yesterday as an extra curricular activity. She picked it. She can already say slowly, hello, bye and my name is Marta.

The only extracurricular activity that Pablo is doing is driving us crazy. But he is doing that actively.

Be nice and be careful out there.
