Y la cara que puso cuando vio su iPod rosa!
Esta vez no he comprado un seguro. A ver que pasa. Pero la gordi estaba feliz, feliz!
And yes, I did!
The answer: Rice, a Ziploc bag and 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
It was a dark morning, 4:45am, when i drop my iPod in the toilet, where Pablo had pissed and not flushed.
I was planning on open it and dry it out, but Google knows best. YOU CAN’T OPEN YOUR IPOD TOUCH! So, shake it like a tic-tac, drop it in a Ziploc bag, fill it up with rice and throw it in your car, that will be parked outside in the hot summer in Houston.
My iPod was on when it took the bath, it made a ggrr sound and went off. After two days doing this dehydration process, I was able to charge it and it showed some bright constellations in the display (high intensity white points) but these guys have been disappearing with time, to the point that a week later, these stars are gone. So my iPod is back and so am I. I was lost not reading Reuters in the morning, watching my Hak5 podcast and listening to Planet Money.
